The MAS Executive Director “Cone of Silence” session – Workshop

Any aficionado of the old TV show Get Smart will recognize the reference to holding a meeting where anything can be said and nothing leaves the room. Being an Executive Director can be a lonely experience as you navigate work and relationships with your Board of Director, staff and volunteers, funders or community partners. As the saying goes “it takes one to know one” and Paddy Bowen, the session leader, has been a charity executive director for over 40 years in a wide range of organizations by size and mandate. This gathering will be structured to allow for the maximum amount of ‘airing, sharing and comparing’ and is also intended to be lively and enjoyable gathering of a very special set of peers.
